Montréal, Québec, June 1, 2012 – Josette Massy-Forget M. Sc., ARP, founder of Massy-Forget Public Relations, recently renamed Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations (MFLRP), was given the Yves-Saint-Amand Award during the Gala des Prix d’excellence (Excellence Awards Gala) of the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP), which was held yesterday at Montréal’s Palais des congrès.

The Yves-Saint-Amand Award is given to public relations professionals who have distinguished themselves throughout their career through high-quality professional activities and personal commitment toward both the profession and its emerging members. Beyond her impressive track record, Josette Massy-Forget has stood out through her numerous initiatives aimed at ensuring that women have their place at the forefront of the business world, as well as contributing to her profession’s scope and recognition.

This distinction coincides with the 30^th anniversary of the consulting firm, founded by Josette Massy-Forget in 1982 and acquired by her daughter Mylène Forget, in 2002.

Consulting Firm Wins Two Excellence Awards
During the Gala, Lassonde Industries and Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations won the Silver Award, Prix d’excellence tactique, catégorie Rédaction (Tactical Excellence Award, Writing Category) for Lassonde’s 2011 Employee Report.

A Platinum Award, Prix d’excellence stratégique, catégorie Campagne sociétale (Strategic Excellence Award, Social Marketing Category) was given to ÉquiLibre and Massy Forget Langlois Public Relations for their Ton influence a du poids 2011 campaign.
